Bytewize AB is a Swedish privately held and financially stable company that was founded in 1989 in Västerås. The company was started as an IT service company which was then focused on the operation, maintenance and support of Linux and Unix Servers. The company has since then worked on the development of various advanced web solutions and web hosting, but now focuses exclusively on development, support and maintenance of the product O3 Lims. However, knowledge of Linux and Unix servers remain within the company, which makes it possible for us to provide our customers with hosting of services.

Our office is located in Västerås Science Park and it is from here all development and support of our products is conducted. Since our system is web based, most of the support and maintenance can be done remotely. We are using a flexible and open platform when developing O3 Lims. Among the great advantages of this architecture is that upgrades are made easy, and implementations are done faster. This means that you can get started fast and our opinion is that your costs will be lower compared to most other commercial LIMS.

It is important to us that our customers be confident with our skills and that we can easily understand the customers’ needs. Therefore, our sales staff are product specialists with experience in the laboratory field. Combine this with our technical staff, experts in web and software development and we can focus on developing the best software possible for the needs of the modern laboratory. Our customers’ needs and requirements govern the whole development of the product. It is important to us that all our customers may make requests for further developments, so we have a close dialogue with our customers and a well-developed case management systems.

In order to demonstrate the quality of the development of O3 Lims we offer all customers a basis for validation of versions upgrades. These data can be used by our customers for their own internal validation or used as input for various inspections. Manuals for the system is continuously updated and follow specified standards with regard to document history and versioning. O3 Lims makes it possible for laboratories to maintain their accreditations (Eg. Swedac, ISO 17025).
